Behind the Name

May of 2009, I adopted a stunning 1 year old dog from the animal shelter. Her eyes are a gorgeous shade of green and yellow. I asked her is your name Jade?  She got up wagging her tail and kissing my face. Yup, that’s the perfect name for this majestic animal. After her first visit to the vet, the vet stated that she believed she is a wolf hybrid.

 

When thinking of my business name, I told Erik I wanted something that was meaningful to me and had a Native American vibe (I have Cherokee roots & love all things Native American). He then said what about Jaded Wolf? 

 

November 26th 2021 

My beautiful Jade crossed over the rainbow bridge. Jade was the most loyal, loving and sweet fur baby. She had such a beautiful soul. She loved us fiercely and we love her the same. I remember the day I adopted you. I took you out to the play yard at the pound and played with you. I sat next to you and looked at your beautiful green eyes and asked you if your name was Jade? You got up jumping and wagging you tail like you were so excited I knew your name! At that moment I knew you were my baby. Thank you for being our sweet loving girl for the last 12 years. We will miss you so much! Life will not be the same without you my beautiful majestic wolf. May you Rest In Peace love!
